Every save creates a new version. Reviewers can diff versions, restore prior versions, and trace edit history across investigators and time. Versions are immutable — restoring creates a new version pointing to prior content.

Granular sharing with role-based access. Default permissions follow investigation roles. Per-document overrides allow temporary expansion or contraction. Time-bound shared links for outside-counsel and regulator review.
Record Links
Link documents to cases, leads, alerts, providers, medical reviews, and activities. The same document supports multiple investigations without duplication, with linkage preserved across exports.
Extraction
Automated data extraction from uploaded documents. Track extraction and embedding status so documents become searchable and usable by governed AI workflows. Content-hash deduplication across the tenant.
AI Summaries

Is Drive a standalone product?
Drive is a shared capability included with AEGIS ISD Core. It provides document management and evidence infrastructure for cases, leads, medical reviews, and other investigation records across the suite.
What document types are supported?
Claims PDFs, clinical attachments (HL7, scanned PDF), correspondence (email exports, demand letters), case summaries, report exports, regulator-submission packages, and any investigator-uploaded artifact. Large attachments stream to object storage with content-hash deduplication.
How does version history work?
Every save creates an immutable new version with a timestamp, actor, and change context. Reviewers can view, diff, and restore any prior version. Restoring a prior version creates a new version rather than overwriting history.
Can documents be shared with external parties?
Yes. Time-bound shared links support outside-counsel and regulator review without provisioning new user accounts. Shared links have configurable expiration dates and are logged in the audit trail.
How does document extraction work with AI?
Uploaded documents go through automated text extraction. Extracted content becomes searchable and available to AEGIS AI for generating evidence-linked summaries, key findings, and risk indicators. All AI-generated content references the source document and extraction version.
